Project Description
This project is a fully 3D-printable word clock, designed with dimensions of 60cm x 60cm, combining modern technology with unique Swiss German flair. The clock’s face displays the time in Swiss German words, making it both functional and culturally distinctive.
At its core, the clock is powered by an ESP microcontroller, enabling WLAN connectivity and easy setup via a configurable web interface. The time is always accurate, thanks to automatic time synchronization over the internet. Vibrant RGBW LEDs illuminate the clock, providing customizable lighting effects and excellent visibility.
All components, including the frame, faceplate, and mounting elements, are designed for 100% 3D printing, ensuring easy assembly and accessibility for makers. The result is a striking, smart, and personalized timepiece that brings together technology, design, and Swiss German language in a unique way.
