Project Description

This project is a custom-built, high-performance PC, created using a Lenovo gaming notebook replacement mainboard equipped with an Intel i9 processor and an NVIDIA RTX 4080 graphics card.

The system is designed for maximum power and reliability, with several unique, hand-built elements. The power supply and cooling system are both custom-made to fit the specific requirements of the components. The cooling setup includes a large front-mounted water cooler for the CPU and a smaller, single-fan water cooler at the back for the GPU. Both water coolers are installed in addition to the original mainboard cooler, which was specially sourced for this project. This multi-layered cooling approach ensures optimal thermal management and allows for safe overclocking. The case is crafted from aluminum profiles sourced from OBI and Bauhaus, featuring a glass side panel for a clear view of the internal components. All fans are managed by a dedicated fan controller for precise cooling performance.

A unique military-style feature is the steel key switch on top of the case, which must be inserted and turned to the "on" position for the system to power up, adding an extra layer of security and style. The build is completed with 64GB DDR4 RAM and a 2TB NVMe SSD, making it a powerful and distinctive custom PC for demanding applications.
