Project Description
EggBot is my custom-built, Arduino-powered robot, designed to automate and enhance the art of Easter egg decoration. As a passionate tinkerer with a deep interest in robotics and embedded systems, I set out to engineer a device that combines precise motion control with creative flexibility.
The core of EggBot is based on an Arduino microcontroller, which orchestrates two NEMA 17 stepper motors, one for rotating the egg along its longitudinal axis, and another for moving the pen assembly along the surface of the egg. This dual-axis control allows for highly intricate and repeatable patterns, far surpassing what’s possible by hand.
